MyOTC
- The MyOTC portal is a fast and easy access point to OTC resources. MyOTC gives faculty, staff, and students a single point of access to services that OTC provides: Blackboard, e-mail, Emergency Notification, online registration, payment, campus information, online file storage, and library resources. To find out more about the services available in MyOTC visit Online Help or the Tech FAQ. If the answer you are looking for is not available in either location, contact the Help Desk.
Emergency Notification
- A messaging system is in place to alert students and staff of school emergencies and closings. Participation in this system is voluntary but is highly recommended. Your cell phone must be able to accept text messages to receive mobile alerts. If your phone does not accept text messages you can still receive the alerts via email. To sign up go to "MyOTC" and click on the "Emergency Notification" tab. To complete the signup process you must reply to the text message or email. OTC will not send spam or advertising through this system.
PASS System
- The PASS system allows faculty, staff & students to reset their passwords from on and off campus at anytime. In order to do this, you must create a profile. A profile consists of answering 5 specific questions that you select. If you haven't created your profile, you will be asked to the next time you login to a computer on campus. This should only take about five minutes. Once you have created your profile, you are done. There is no need to change your password. For more information visit Online Help PASS System.
Open Computer Lab New
- A large open computer lab is available for student use in ICE 223A. Students may use the lab to do homework or research, generate print output, and to practice using software applications commonly found in the workplace. Current hours of operation are posted outside the entry door of the lab.
Wireless/StuNet
- Wireless Internet access is available in the common areas of classroom buildings throughout campus. Information and setup documentation is available at the Student Computer Help Desk located in the Information Commons atrium. Before accessing the internet, review OTC’s Computer Use Agreement. Wired Internet access is available in the Information Commons Atrium and in the Information Commons East atrium.

Help Desk
- The Student Computer Help Desk, located in the Information Commons atrium, primarily services other students with technology issues such as wireless internet access, location of walk-up computers for student use, online registration, student account access, and more. The Information Technology Help Desk provides OTC users with technical support, user account issues, and acts as a central point to report problems or issues.
Network Security
- The Network Security weblog allows us to keep students informed of security events that could affect campus computing.
Antivirus Computer Protection
- Antivirus protection is offered to students for purchase during the second week of classes. The price to students is $3.00 for a single copy. For installation instructions, see the Tech FAQ
Computer Kiosks
- Located in various areas on campus are computer kiosks. These kiosks are available for anyone's use and are limited to Internet access only.
